Okay, so it turns out that Alex (the ex-soccer player bank teller from Turkey) is sort of married. But here's the catch...he only married for citizenship to a friend. I guess this period is up in 6 months or so and then they're getting a divorce. He doesn't wear a ring, he doesn't live with her, and they don't talk. According to Brian, the other hottie at the bank, Alex will tell anyone who asks that he's single but that it's complicated.

So...should I get involved? Especially this past week, I've definitely felt that we have something going on. He interrogated me about my weekend plans on Friday and Saturday when I saw him and I KNOW I should have led him into asking to do something. The problem is, I've totally been out of practice with the whole dating thing for a long time. I was with Josh for 2 years and before him, I was single for over 6 months. I feel awkward about it, now. LOL!

I know, I haven't updated in awhile. I really have had NOTHING of interest to say. LOL! That's pretty sad. I'm posting because we were finally blessed with new Pitt Family Pictures and I couldn't be more thrilled. They're such a cute little family.

 

Secondly, what's up with Harry Potter? I have never ever cared to see the movies and I've never paid any interest. However, the feverish interest from all my fandoms has really made me want to hop on the bandwagon. I know my parents own the first one (my Dad got it free when he bought a new DVD player years ago) so I might watch it this weekend and see if I can enjoy it! I don't know, though. I am NOT a fantasy fiction type fan at all. Even when I was a child, this wouldn't have interested me.

 

Anyway, I'm tired and I've TIVO'd the season premiere of ER so I'm going to go watch that. Goodnight!

Today I ran into the younger sister of a girl I was in Girl Scout's with. It was so damn crazy seeing as I never run into even anyone from high school. Her sister gave me her number and I'm going to give her a call tomorrow. We were the most pathetic group of girl scout's you have ever seen. If you've ever seen the movie Troop Beverly Hills, that was so us. LOL! While the other troops were sleeping outside at the zoo, we had two suites at the Embassy Suites. *shakes head*.

 

I'm also on the manhunt, if you know any smart, funny guys over the age of 30 in my area...give me a shout. LOL!

What else...oh, THE SIMS 2 Nightlife.

So fucking cool! I stayed up until 2am playing it last night. My Sim is such a little slut, I love her!

I need someone in one of my fandoms to do SOMETHING right now. I need new Brad & Angie pictures or some Justin press or SOMETHING! This is the last day of my long weekend off and I have to go back to the real world of work tomorrow morning. Blegh. LOL! I did schedule an eye appointment for Wednesday, though. I'm finally going to get contacts and new glasses. That's kind of exciting.

Texas beat OSU in the last minutes of the game 25-22. Even still, it was a damn good college football game. That picture is from tonight. 101,000+ people, it amazes me whenever I see it. OSU played better football, they just made too many damn mistakes.

 

I cannot say this enough, HOLD ON TO THE BALL!

 

We were ranked 4th, I just hope now that we're still in the Top 10. It's okay, though...we still have an entire season to play and a defensive line that is just SICK.

Okay...Lori and I went shopping today and we were on a mission. I mean, we met at 9am this morning for a hearty breakfast before we set out. I don't think there was a single store we walked into that I didn't spend money. It felt so great, I haven't been shopping in SO long. However, my boot situation is still grim. I found the perfect boots and they're available in brown AND black, however...nowhere has my size. Typical! I'm about to go searching online for them, soon I'll be a wreck over these damn boots. LOL!

Stuff I bought today:

- Kick ass new Puma's
- A TON of stuff at the MAC counter
- Victoria's Secret Ipex Demi -- yeah, this IS an amazing bra! Totally worth $50
- Jewelry, jewelry, and more jewelry

And then after hitting both Coach stores in town, Nordstrom's and Saks, I found the Coach purse I wanted. I called my mother to tell her about my find and how it was on hold for me across town. She offered to buy it for me for my birthday. SCORE!

So I have family coming in town tomorrow. I'm fucking tired right now but I don't feel like going to bed. This is going to be a fun weekend!

I want to get married and have babies. I do. I'll be 24 tomorrow and I'm definitely not getting any younger. I had always hoped to have my first child in my late 20's. I look at someone like Reese Witherspoon or Angelina Jolie and that is just ideal to me. Two kids by 30...perfect.

Problem?

Umm...no man. LOL!

So I pose this question to all of you. Assuming you have a deep desire to have children someday, if you'd reached a certain age and still not found a man you want to have kids with, would you adopt or consider invitro (sp?).

Just something to chew on.

We have been infested by bees. They're swarming outside and somehow, they've managed to actually get in through the kitchen windows. There is nothing more uncomfortable than hearing buzzing and knowing it's not a fly. Ugh!

Moving on...how about SYTYCD last night? I have decided that I am completely in love with Blake. He's such a great dancer, really...he's awesome.

Artem I love because he's hot and straight. LOL! You really can't ask for more than that. As far as the eliminations go, I can see Melody and Jamile going home. Melody bores me and I think the crowd loves Ryan more than Jamile. Personally, I don't think Jamile or Destiny deserved to be in the bottom 2 with that fucking KICK ASS hip hop routine last night. But..who am I?

I would like to state FOR THE RECORD that I had an entire first post written up and LJ just screwed me over. Anywho,  I plan to actually use my LJ this time. It seems that I'm missing out on an entire community of fun, so I'm looking forward to it.

My birthday is on Saturday and I have the next five days off to kick back and do nothing. I'm pretty excited about it! Saturday is the OSU vs. Texas game which is bigger than big. Rumor on the street has it that the Bush twins will be at the game. Yay. Apparently Daddy wanted to come too, but thought better of it with ya know...a country to attempt to run.

On a completely unrelated note, I'm going to see Mr. and Mrs. Smith tonight. For the 5th time. LOL! My friend Lori hasn't seen it and really, there is no passing up a $1.50 night at the movies. I might need help.
